With the Licentiate in Drama and DipTESOL from Trinity College London, I have over 35 years experience teaching speech and drama to groups and individuals.
My students end up with lead roles in major productions.
I have also directed over 20 productions and in 2024 received the Auckland Community Theatre Trust Award for Outstanding Drama for the production of Agatha Christie's "Black Coffee", building on earlier recognition including the 2018 Deidre Snedden Trust Award for professional development at London’s Globe Theatre.

I am a NZ Accredited Adjudicator in Performing Arts and a qualified SpeechNZ examiner. I am also a long-standing reviewer for BroadwayWorld.
I was formerly employed in national roles with the Ministry of Education and NZQA
